Jobs

The ACUMEN Book Job function increases your control over the cost of producing your products. You can enter projected costs and then monitor whether your production projects are coming in on budget. You can use Quick Report to generate reports for analysis.

Job Features:

• You can set up an unlimited number of Job Cost Types.
• ACUMEN tracks projected to actual expenses for each Job Cost Type in each Job.
• The Job Cost Detail Report provides actual costs and projections and calculates the ratio between the two.
• An historical file is kept on all Job Cost distributions for tracking and reporting on any conceivable type of production activity.
• Job Cost allocations can be made from voucher, check, or adjustment entry screens.
• Costs can be allocated to closed Jobs, updating inventory.
• Costs can be adjusted between Jobs.
• Jobs can be set up for non-inventory projects, such as advertising brochures.

• Job Cost Detail Report: This report prints detailed information for all user-selected jobs.
• Job Cost Summary Report: This report prints summary information for all user-selected jobs.
• Job Cost Entry Journal: This report shows the underlying job detail for check, adjustment, or AP voucher job allocations.
